What about the cemetery rules and regulations?
Southern Family Monuments will, as a service to our clients, contact the cemetery in which your memorial will be placed to ensure the rules and regulations of the cemetery are met. However, it is the ultimate responsibility of the purchaser to make sure the memorial meets all specifications.
What about cemetery or installation fees?
Southern Family Monuments is not responsible for any fees assessed by the cemetery for installation or perpetual care. The prices quote via SouthernFamilyMonuments.com does not include any cemetery or installation fees. As a further service to our clients a Southern Family Monuments representative will assist you in making installation arrangements, however, all fees will be made directly to the cemetery or installer.
What options do I have for payment?
Standard payment procedures require a 25% deposit at the time of the signed contract. Remaining balance is due at the time of the approved layout.
Lay-away Plan: Families have the option to enroll in our lay-away plan. A 25% deposit is due upon signed contract. Clients may make payments, at their own pace, until the balance is paid in full. A 10% (based on remaining balance) will be applied should the payment plan exceed one (1) calendar year.

Sales made inside the state of Georgia are subject to 7% sales tax. The purchaser is responsible for any sales taxes in all other states.
How does the FREE SHIPPING work?
Southern Family will ship your monument at no cost to any business location inside the continental United States. Standard delivery time is 6-8 weeks from the receipt of layout approval. Custom design elements may extend delivery time.
Shipments outside the U.S. are subject to additional costs. Costs are based on delivery location and weight of shipment.
Residential deliveries are available at an additional charge. Any special shipping requirements (lift gates, delivery rescheduling) will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Should your memorial incur damage in shipping, receiver MUST make note of all damage, in the presence of the driver, on the bill of lading. If possible, a photo should be taken of the damage. Once damage is noted please contact Southern Family Monuments immediately. The window for filing damage claims is 15 days.
